Vas Lanscpapes completed this back garden patio project in Purley, Croydon. The customer and I discussed the design of the garden and the conclusion was that they requested a new extended raised patio, new brick and block work and steps.

We removed the existing small lower terraced wall on the garden level and excavated new concrete footings and then installed a new concrete wall using H Blocks and re inforcing bars filled with concrete.

We bricked up a wall in front of the concrete blocks using a Hampstead yellow brick. We then re shaped the steps which required measuring, planning and scaling off on paperwork to make the steps work and the height of the patio.

The opposite side of the steps, we built a small retaining concrete wall using H Blocks and then rendered. The existing lower wall was cleaned up and also rendered. Once the wall was completed from the rear door we built up a small wall to walk down some steps onto the patio.

Vas Landscapes removed the uneven existing patio and then once the  patio was removed we built a new patio using Raj Green paving.

The customer was very satisfied with the work carried out and we were recommended to her by her brother who’s garden we had worked on previously.
