Garden Patio Transformation in Croydon – Showcasing a Koi Fish Pond
As part of enhancing my outdoor space in Croydon, I recently completed a garden patio project to complement the Koi fish pond I refurbished last year. To begin the transformation, I removed the existing block paving and prepared the area with a solid concrete base. I also installed new ACO drains and a recessed manhole cover to improve drainage and maintain a clean, seamless finish.
For the paving, I chose Kandla Grey natural stone slabs in a 900x600mm size, which not only added a sleek, modern look but also made the garden appear more spacious. Once the stone paving was completed to a high standard, I created defined planting areas within the lawn to introduce greenery and texture.
The result is a clean, contemporary garden patio in Croydon that perfectly highlights the Koi pond as a focal point. With the addition of garden furniture and colourful planting beds, the space is set to become a peaceful and visually striking outdoor retreat.
