A previous customer contacted me to visit her rear garden for a new garden path. I asked her what she had in mind and once she had accepted the job I commenced by marking out the shape of the path and explained what I was going to do, I removed the previous path, rockery and fibre glass pond. I also reduced the flower beds so that they were easier to manage and have the path parallel to the fence. I excavated the area using sub base materials required.
I built a three courses retaining wall to retain the flower beds, half way down the garden path I reduced this down to two courses. I used Ashdown bricks and Kandla grey Indian Stone paving. I used bricks on either side of the path for a nice effect and made good with the turf.
I dug out the flower beds and added a multi purpose compost ready for planting.
The customer was delighted with the results and looks forward to enjoying her garden
