A repeat customer requested a visit to their garden to carry out further work at the rear of the garden. I had previously laid a lawn for them around a year ago.

We had a discussion with regards to the work and I commenced the work. I removed the existing concrete shed base and dug out a soakaway ready for drainage and aco drains.

Once the soakaway was installed and the excavation I installed retaining railway sleepers. I placed membrane inside the sleepers, and a privacy Trellis on top of the sleepers to cover the fence. Once all the timber work was completed a membrane, sub base of type 1 and aco drains were placed against the outlet building into the soakaway.

I installed Natural Stone Paving in Camel dust colour. Once the main area was pointed I began to excavate for the garden path parallel with the garden fence and lawn.

Using the same materials as above and Camel dust paving. Bricks on either side of the path and the end of the paving around the edge of the lawn end I used Sevenoaks yellow bricks.

I dug over and loosened the soil parallel with the path and the fence ready for the customers to arrange their planting. I installed organic Topsoil into the garden bed and installed the Topsoil into the railway sleepers. The customers were very happy with the work carried out and are looking forward to enjoying their garden.
